Terrance R. Harris

Terrance “Rick” Harris began his legal career in 1991. For the first part of his professional career, Rick served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, providing legal services and counsel to state agencies. Rick joined Ramsden, Marfice, Ealy & Harris, LLP (then Ramsden & Lyons, LLP) as an associate attorney in 2001. Rick recently went on disability and is no longer practicing law.

Rick enjoyed working with local businesses in all phases of the business cycle, from starting a new business to the sale or dissolution of an established business and everything in between. He prided himself on taking a common sense approach to advising business owners and managers with an eye toward growing their businesses and resolving their legal issues while minimizing risk and, frankly, the attention of other attorneys.

Rick also handled a variety of real estate matters. He assisted clients who wanted to acquire, develop, lease or sell real property. Rick also helped clients with property issues involving easements, boundary disputes, trespasses and HOA disputes.

Rick enjoyed a long and prosperous legal career before his recent disability, He particularly took great pride in this law firm where he started as a young associate in 2001, and worked his way up the ladder to become a partner, and even a brief stint as the managing partner.  Along the way he got to work with and know many fine attorneys. None finer than his former partners Mike Ramsden, Marc Lyons, Doug Marfice and Mike Ealy, as well as the other staff at the firm through the years.  Rick also had the great opportunity to work with a lot of other fine attorneys in Idaho and Washington, and a great group of attorneys who used to be or are currently attorneys at Ramsden, Marfice, Ealy & Harris, LLP. He thanks them all.

Rick's new mantra in life are from the insightful lyrics of a David J. Matthew's song:

"Life is short but sweet for certain."
